The NBA on ESPN is averaging 1,920,000 viewers through 19 games to start the 2017-18 season, a 24 percent increase over the same period in 2016 (1,557,000 viewers).

Oklahoma City's win over the Warriors last week averaged 3,282,000 viewers, which was the most-viewed regular season game on ESPN since Christmas 2016.

“There is so much excitement surrounding the NBA and our viewership on ESPN is a reflection of that,” said Burke Magnus, ESPN Executive Vice President, Programming and Scheduling. “With a full slate of Christmas Day games next month and the start of our NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC schedule in January, it’s a great time to be an NBA fan.”
