The Atlanta Hawks have been attempting to trade Dennis Schroder for several weeks but haven't gained much traction.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, other teams view Schroder's contract, poor three-point shooting and defensive issues as part of his low trade value. Schroder's legal troubles could be an even bigger issue.

Brookhaven Police arrested Schroder and three other men on misdemeanor battery charges in September.

Internally, Hawks officials have expressed confidence that Schroder won’t end up in jail. The Hawks may have difficulty trading Schroder until his legal issues are resolved.
