The Dallas Mavericks do not expect Dennis Smith Jr. to join them on an upcoming two-game road trip against the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks.

The Mavs have been trying to reconcile their relationship with Smith, and insist that they will not trade Smith unless they get comparable value in return.
