The Los Angeles Lakers' front office situation is in flux following the resignation of Magic Johnson. For now, Rob Pelinka is reportedly remaining as general manager.

Myers grew up in the Bay Area but played collegiately at UCLA.

"I think Bob Myers is a name that will come up," said Zach Lowe on The Lowe Post. "I've heard it speculated for years that if there's one job that can get Bob Myers out of Golden State, it's the Lakers. He went to UCLA. Everyone likes to live in Los Angeles."

Sam Amick reported on The Athletic that Johnson was making $10 million per year with the Lakers while Marcus Thompson suggests Myers might make about half that amount.
