Draymond Green has been gearing up for contract extension talks with the golden State Warriors this offseason. Green recently hired Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.

Green signed a five-year, $82 million deal with the Warriors in 2015. Green was unable to cash in on the 2016 cap spike by signing a long-term deal after his breakout season. Green's acceptance of less than a full max helped the Warriors sign Kevin Durant in 2016, which is a point Green has pointed out.

Green recently turned 29 and it remains unclear what the Warriors would be willing to pay him before letting him test the market.

“He’s Draymond Green,” Joe Lacob told The Athletic. “I wasn’t worried. I want Draymond Green to be here forever. He’s as Warrior as they come.”

Green is scheduled to become a free agent in 2020.
