Buddy Hield said that he may look elsewhere to play if he couldn't come to a contract extension with the Sacramento Kings by Monday's deadline.

"If it don't get done...then me and my team will look somewhere else...probably another home," said Hield following the Kings preseason win over Melbourne United.

Hield added that he wants to feel respected as part of the core of the team.

“I love Sacramento, but if they don’t want me here and they don’t feel like I’m part of the core... I like respect and loyalty and I feel like I’m part of the group that’s getting the team back to where it needs to be... but if they don’t want me here, I’ll find somewhere else," according to video taken from the locker room.

The Kings reportedly offered Hield a four-year deal worth $90 million.

Hield is looking for a four-year deal worth $110 million.
