The newly-formed Basketball Africa League will hold its first combine featuring 50 players at the Brooklyn Nets' practice facility over December 4th-5th.

P.J. Carlesimo will direct the camp.

The BAL is set to begin play in March 2020, and features 12 teams across Africa. Each team can have 16 players on their roster, 8 of whom must be citizens of the team's home country.

“Our goal is to establish the Basketball Africa League as a destination for top players with U.S. college, G League and international experience. Our first BAL Combine will provide teams with the opportunity to evaluate a deeper pool of talent as they fortify their rosters ahead of our first season, which tips off in four months," said BAL President Amadou Gallo Fall.
