Arizona Governor Doug Ducey said that professional sports in Arizona will resume without fans starting on May 16th.

"It would be, at this point in time, according to the CDC guidelines, without fans," said Ducey at a press conference.

Ducey said he has had conversations with "leaders of some of these leagues" about playing games in Arizona, though he did not specify what activities could take place.

Ducey spoke to Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred last month about potentially hosting games in Arizona.
