Mark Cuban told ESPN that he wants all 30 NBA teams to play 5-7 regular season games, then proceed to a play-in tournament for the last two playoff seeds if the season were to resume.

Cuban believes that all 30 teams must participate to fulfill the requirements of local television.

Under Cuban's plan, the top 10 teams from both conferences would qualify for the postseason and be reseeded by record. The 17th seed would then play the 20th seed, with the 18th seed matching up with the 19th seed.

Those winners would advance to play the 15th and 16th seed for the final playoff positions.

Cuban added that his plan addresses concerns surrounding the league's financial situation while giving players enough time to prepare for the postseason.
