The NBA suspended the 19-20 season following Rudy Gobert's positive COVID-19 test on the 141st day of the regular season.

In a strange symmetry and an indication of how long this quarantine period is lasting, the NBA plans to resume the season on July 31st, which is 141 days after March 12th.

The NBA was initially hoping to resume the season in late June or early July with the hope of The Finals concluding by Labor Day. Game 7 of The Finals will be played on October 12th, if necessary.
