Adrian Wojnarowski has apologized for sending an expletive email to Missouri Senator Josh Hawley.
Hawley wrote a letter to Adam Silver, also published on Twitter, asking why the NBA agreed with players that they can select from a preapproved list of social statements on the back of their jerseys as part of the league's restart. While the initiative was focused on the Black Lives Matter movement, it received criticism from Mike Scott, Jaylen Brown and others for not going far enough.
If @NBA is going to put social cause statements on uniforms, why not “Support our Troops” or “Back the Blue”? Or given how much $$ @nba makes in #China, how about “Free Hong Kong”! Today I wrote to Adam Silver to ask for answers pic.twitter.com/PthYR4OxmE

Don’t criticize #China or express support for law enforcement to @espn. It makes them real mad @Outkick pic.twitter.com/WJDxrotUBD
