The Los Angeles Clippers have retained CAA Sports to sell the naming rights for their new arena in Inglewood, which is expected to break ground in the summer of 2021. The arena is scheduled to open for the start of the 24-25 season.

Steve Ballmer, a former chief executive officer at Microsoft Corp., has said he intends to build the premier basketball facility in the world.

The facility could command more than $20 million per year.

“The NBA is so strong internationally, and interest could be quite high,” Eric Smallwood of Apex Marketing Group said.

CAA Sports has completed more than $4 billion in new sponsorships, including agreements for Yankee Stadium and naming rights for Levi’s Stadium and Chase Center.
