The Los Angeles Clippers have interviewed Sam Cassell for their head coaching job.

Cassell has been an assistant on the staff of Doc Rivers for the past six seasons.

Cassel was previously on the coaching staff of the Washington Wizards under Flip Saunders from 2009 until 2014.
