Kyrie Irving missed Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to personal reasons.
Steve Nash said he "just found out" that Irving would not be playing.
"I sent him a message in the last half-hour and haven't heard back yet," Nash said. "But obviously thinking about him and hope that all is well. It's a private matter."
Irving will also not fly with the Nets to Memphis on Thursday evening.
The Brooklyn Nets have already been without Kevin Durant due to COVID-19 protocols.
Irving published the following on Instagram on Thursday.
