The NBA's shortened season and the play-in tournament has created a situation where fewer teams are clearly out of contention for the playoffs, which has also impacted the trade deadline.

Typically, the trade deadline will feature a number of teams looking to sell off some of their players.

"I had a GM say something pretty funny to me the other day, he said 'if you can't figure out who the sellers are, it's probably you,'" relayed Adrian Wojnarowski on his podcast. 

"I think you may see some teams who traditionally might have been sellers, become buyers," added Wojnarowski.
