Miami Heat veterans Jimmy Butler and Udonis Haslem had to be physically separated during a timeout clash on Wednesday night. As the Heat fell behind the Golden State Warriors, Haslem seemed to take offense to Butler's effort level.

This led to an argument during the timeout where both players seemed to challenge each other. Players and coaches eventually walked both Butler and Haslem away from the huddle.

Postgame, Kyle Lowry and P.J. Tucker, as well as Erik Spoelstra, tried to downplay the incident. Tucker said it's normal and common for things to get heated between teammates. Lowry called it "crazy", but said those things happen during a season. Spoelstra said it is part of having a "competitive, gnarly group".
