Rob Pelinka and Kurt Rambis are expected to remain in their current positions of power within the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

The Lakers had a disappointing season and even missed the play-in with a roster that most observers have described as poorly constructed.

Pelinka joined the Lakers in 2017 and assumed his role as lead decision maker in 2019 after the resignation of Magic Johnson.

Rambis and his wife, Linda Rambis, are known as key allies to Jeanie Buss.

The Lakers, meanwhile, are expected to part ways with Frank Vogel.
