Mike D'Antoni has reemerged in the head coaching search of the Charlotte Hornets.

There was previously momentum for D'Antoni's candidacy before he appeared to fall out of favor. If the Hornets hire D'Antoni, the team could also hire Jim Boylen as an assistant coach. D'Antoni was most recently a head coach in 2020 with the Houston Rockets. 

The Hornets are also considering Terry Stotts and Kenny Atkinson.
