The Phoenix Suns are expected to engage in "serious sign-and-trade talks" over Deandre Ayton, reported Marc Stein.

Stein adds that there is increasing skepticism surrounding the Suns' desire to invest in Ayton long-term.

Ayton is set to be a restricted free agent this summer.

The center has been linked with several teams, including the Hawks, Pistons, and Blazers. 

It was recently reported that the Hawks are "convinced" on acquiring Ayton this offseason.
