The Denver Nuggets have agreed to trade one veteran forward this offseason, but it appears another one will be returning next season. Jeff Green is expected to pick up his $4.5 million player option with the Nuggets for the 2022-23 season.

JaMychal Green will exercise his $8.2 million player option with Denver as well. JaMychal Green will then be traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, as part of a deal that sees the teams also swap draft pick considerations.

Jeff Green appeared in 75 games for the Nuggets this past season. Signed to provide frontcourt bench depth, Green ended up starting in 63 games after Michael Porter Jr. was injured early in the season. Green averaged 10.3 points on career-best 52.4% shooting in his 14th NBA season.
