The Brooklyn Nets are prepared to hold firm on a return of Devin Booker if they trade Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns, sources tell Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer.

The Suns will likely hold the line on not including Booker in a package for Durant.

The early indications are that the Nets are not inclined to take a sign-and-trade of Deandre Ayton.

The Nets would have to trade Ben Simmons before acquiring Booker, or Bam Adebayo from the Miami Heat, due to the limit of only having one designed rookie-scale contract players on the roster acquired by trade.

The Suns have been widely expected to sign Booker to a supermax extension this offseason.
