Gary Payton II is set to sign a three-year, $28 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Payton averaged 7.1 points and 3.5 rebounds last season with the Warriors. 

Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports adds that the contract includes a player option and extra incentives.
