Patrick Beverley said he couldn't wait to help knock the Los Angeles Lakers out of the playoffs after the team traded him away. Now, Beverley says both he and Russell Westbrook, another guard the Lakers traded away, want rings if Los Angeles wins the NBA Finals.

The Lakers traded Beverley to the Orlando Magic, where he was bought out before signing with the Chicago Bulls. Westbrook was dealt to the Utah Jazz, where he was bought out before signing with the LA Clippers.

Speaking on his podcast, Pat Bev Podcast with Rone, Beverley said he and Russell Westbrook agreed they want a ring if the Lakers win.

Beverley said Westbrook told him "Hey Pat, Lakers win, I want my ring." Beverley said he told Westbrook "Russ, we gonna be suited and booted, boy. I'm gonna be right there waiting on that ring."

When asked if they'd accept rings, Beverley said "Do I think Westbrook gonna accept the ring? Hell yeah, he ain't gonna say no to it."

As for himself, Beverley made it clear he'd accept a ring.

"If they win, you call me whatever the f*** you wanna call me, I'ma get that ring," Beverley exclaimed. "I might shed a tear. I'll give a speech."
