The Atlanta Hawks are close to hiring Igor Kokoskov as an assistant coach under Quin Snyder. Kokoskov previously was an assistant coach under Snyder while with the Utah Jazz and was a head coach with the Phoenix Suns.

Kokoskov would become the lead assistant on Snyder's staff.

Snyder has remade his bench by also adding Antonio Lang and Mike Brey.
