Michael Jordan's net worth has reached more than $3 billion, according to Forbes.

Jordan sold the Charlotte Hornets this year at nearly 17 times its value when he became principal owner in 2010. Jordan became the NBA’s first player-turned-majority-owner in a deal mostly funded by debt that valued the franchise at $175 million, a considerable drop from the initial $300 million BET founder Robert L. Johnson paid for the expansion team in 2003.

In its latest annual report, Nike reported $6.6 billion in annual wholesale revenue for the Jordan Brand, up 28.6 percent from the year prior.
