The Los Angeles Lakers are likely to stand pat on at the trade deadline, sources tell Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.

The recent strong play of D'Angelo Russell is believed to have convinced key stakeholders with the Lakers that any upgrade they could make upon him would be marginal and likely not worth the cost.

The Lakers are currently only able to trade one future first round pick while they could send out up to three first round picks beginning at the draft.

The Lakers have been linked with Dejounte Murray and Bruce Brown Jr. amongst other players.
