The Charlotte Hornets would like to re-sign Miles Bridges this offseason, sources tell Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

Bridges had the right to veto any possible trade because he is on a one-year deal and would give up his Bird rights if he were dealt. Bridges is averaging 21.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, the Hornets advanced their trade discussions on Bridges the furthest with the Phoenix Suns.

In 2022, Bridges had a no contest plea on a felony domestic violence charge.

Bridges is also due in Mecklenberg County court on Feb. 20 for a hearing that involves an alleged violation of a domestic violence protective order.
