Delon Wright will miss the next two weeks due to a grade 2 strain of his right groin.

Wright was injured during a February 19th loss to the Grizzlies.

Wright is averaging 10.7 points and 4.6 rebounds on the season. 

The Chicago Bulls are now scheduled to play the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night, league sources confirmed to Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic.

The Bulls' originally scheduled game against the Hornets was postponed due to contact tracing. 

The Dallas Mavericks' game against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday was postponed, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The postponement was an order from Texas governor Greg Abbott because of a state of emergency in response to severe weather.

Devin Booker and Saddiq Bey were named the Western and Eastern Conference Player of the Week by the NBA.

Booker averaged 32.3 points, 5.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds for the Suns, who went 4-0 on the week.

Bey averaged 17.8 points and 5.5 rebounds 69.6% from three for the Pistons, who went 3-1. 

Blake Griffin and the Detroit Pistons have agreed for Griffin to sit out games as the franchise looks for trade or buyout options, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The team is looking to rebuild and play their younger players, including Saddiq Bey.

"After extensive conversation with Blake's representatives, it has been determined that we will begin working to facilitate a resolution regarding his future with the team that maximizes the interests of both parties," Pistons general manager Troy Weaver told ESPN.

Griffin currently has $36.6 million remaining on this season's deal, with $39 million owed in 2021-22.

Tuesday night's game between the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons was postponed due to Health and Safety Protocols.

The league returned a positive test within the Spurs, and is currently doing further contact tracing.

The game marks the 25th postponement of this season. 

The Detroit Pistons received trade interest in Derrick Rose from a number of teams before agreeing to a deal with the New York Knicks.

The Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets were also interested in Rose.

Rose is averaging 14.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists this season with the Pistons.

The Knicks will send Dennis Smith Jr. plus a 2021 second-round pick via the Hornets to the Pistons.

The trade reunites Rose with Tom Thibodeau.

Talks between the two sides had reportedly stretched over a couple months.

The New York Knicks were reportedly unwilling to include Kevin Knox in a potential deal for Derrick Rose, sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

The Pistons had been seeking additional draft compensation if Dennis Smith Jr. were involved in the deal.

The Knicks were also not willing to include a first-round pick in a potential trade. 

The New York Knicks are close to acquiring Derrick Rose, sources told Shams Charania and James Edwards of The Athletic.

The Pistons would receive Dennis Smith Jr. and draft compensation.
