Mar 18, 2008 9:25 PM

Allen Iverson is set to make his first return to Philadelphia since he was traded to Denver in a package including Andre Miller 15 months ago, the Associated Press is reporting.

It is thought that Iverson will get a standing ovation from the Sixer crowd, rather than get booed.

"I think they will show the appreciation that he deserves for all the great things he did when he was here," said Ed Snider, chairman of Comcast-Spectacor, which owns the 76ers. "On the court, he was magnificent."

Webber Bugged By O'Brien's Blasts

Mar 1, 2008 6:50 AM

Chris Webber fired back at the statements made by his former Sixers coach Jim O'Brien on January 21, where O'Brien insinuated that Webber did not practice hard and did not want to be in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting.

"I've been in the league longer than Jim O'Brien," he said. "I think he's trying to justify why he got fired and why players didn't like him. It's funny, because I was the babysitter for him that year to make people like him."
