C.J. Miles, according to a source, is drawing serious interest from the Lakers.
Miles, who has already met with the Mavericks and Cavaliers, could make a decision within the next 2-3 days.
The Lakers still have the $3 million mini mid-level exception available to sign an incoming free agent.
Josh Howard has narrowed his list of potential landing spots to Brooklyn, New York, Utah, Indiana and Golden State and is expected to soon make a decision.
An unrestricted free agent, Howard averaged 8.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 43 games for the Jazz last season.
C.J. Miles is scheduled to meet with the Cavaliers this week.
Miles is an unrestricted free agent and has drawn interest from several teams since free agency began on July 1.

The Jazz defeated the 76ers by a final score of 84-80 on Day 2 of the Orlando Summer League.
Alec Burks scored 31 points on 14 shots from the floor to lead the Jazz. Enes Kanter also rebounded from a rough outing on Day 1 with 10 points and eight rebounds.
