The Boston Celtics recalled forward Kris Joseph from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
Joseph, a 6’7 forward, averaged 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 block in two games while on assignment.

Justin Brownlee has signed into the NBA Development League and has rejoined the Maine Red Claws roster.
Brownlee appeared in 50 games for the Red Claws last season, averaging 8.0 points per game.
To make room on the roster for Brownlee, the Red Claws have waived guard Raheem Singleton.
Brian Cusworth is a 7-foot, 28-year-old center on the Maine Red Claws of the D-League still hoping to reach the NBA.
But Cusworth is also a graduate of Harvard putting off medical school to pursue that dream while making a meager salary in the D-League.
"I always thought of myself as a potential player in the NBA," Cusworth said, "so I thought this was the best road to give it a shot."
Cusworth played in the NBA Summer League in 2007 and then played in Europe until suffering an ankle injury in 2010.
"It's great to have that experience," Cusworth said. "That, coupled with the success I've had overseas, made me think I'm on the cusp of breaking in (to the NBA).
"That remains to be seen. I wanted to give it a shot."
Cusworth's plan is to pursue a career in medicine once he stops playing basketball.
"It's very easy for me to say 'I'm going to be a doctor.' It's another thing to commit a year or two to refresher courses, four years of medical school, three years of residency, at the least."
The D-League has three classifications for player salaries, paying $25,500, $19,000 and $13,000 per year.
D-League teams also have a per-team salary cap of $178,000 with a dollar-for-dollar luxury tax for teams that go over.
Players also receive a per diem of $40 on the road.
The Boston Celtics have assigned forward Kris Joseph and center Fab Melo to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
Melo, a 7’0 center, appeared in all eight preseason games for the Celtics and averaged 1.3 rebounds in 5.9 minutes per game.
Joseph, a 6’7 forward, made his NBA debut against the Milwaukee Bucks and recorded one rebound and one assist in three minutes of action on November 2. He had averaged 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.8 minutes during the eight preseason games earlier this year.
JaJuan Johnson was the first overall pick of the 2012 D-League Draft as he was selected by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Andrew Goudelock went second to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, followed by the selection of Justin Harper by the Idaho Stampede.
Shelvin Mack was picked fourth overall by the Maine Red Claws and Mike Davis rounded out the top-five by going to the Reno Bighorns.
Christian Eyenga, a first round pick by the Cavaliers in 2009, was drafted eighth overall by the Texas Legends.
