No. 4 Recruit Tre Johnson Commits To Texas

Tre Johnson announced his commitment to Texas on Wednesday, choosing the Longhorns over Baylor.

Johnson is ranked as the No. 4 player in the ESPN 100 for the 2024 class. 

"There's no NBA team in Austin. The fans give great support, and the Moody Center gets loud. I like their culture," said Johnson, who announced his commitment on The Pat McAfee Show.

Texas now has three recruits inside the ESPN top 100 for 2024.

Khani Rooths Commits To Michigan

Khani Rooths announced his commitment to Michigan on Sunday.

Rooths, the No. 23 prospect on the ESPN 100 for the 2024 class, picked Michigan over Georgia and Florida State.

Rooths is Michigan's highest-ranked recruit since 2021.

"They have had players like me drafted at the wing position. I know this is a great opportunity for me to play at Michigan," said Rooths.

Five-Star Center Patrick Ngongba II Commits To Duke

Five-star center Patrick Ngongba II committed to Duke on Saturday, choosing the Blue Devils over Kansas State and Kentucky.

"I chose Duke because it felt like home. I like their plan for me, and I trust the coaches. It is a place where we can win and help me get to the next level," Ngongba told ESPN.

Ngongba is the No. 19 ranked player in the ESPN 100 for the 2024 class.

Duke, who received a commitment from Cooper Flagg earlier this week, have the top-ranked recruiting class in the country.

Jacob Wilkins, Son Of Dominique Wilkins, Commits To Georgia

Four-star prospect Jacob Wilkins, the son of Dominique Wilkins, committed to Georgia on Tuesday.

A 6-foot-8 power forward, Wilkins is the No. 57 ranked prospect in the ESPN 60 for the 2025 class.

Wilkins chose Georgia over Virginia.

"I trust everyone there. I come in there with a last name but I know I'll make my own name going there. Not just being the son of Dominique Wilkins but Jacob Wilkins," Wilkins said.
