Antoine Walker announced his retirement on Saturday night.
The 35-year-old Walker joined the D-League’s Idaho Stampede last season and played 87 games for the team.
Walker has dealt with bankruptcy issues off the court, which included selling his championship ring to help pay off his debts.
The Austin Toros today announced they have acquired guard/forward D’Andre Bell.
Bell played in 41 games for the Bakersfield Jam during the 2010-11 season averaging 5.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in 15 minutes. He averaged 6.1 points and 2.5 rebounds his senior year at Georgia Tech.
The Austin Toros announced the addition of Ronald “Flip” Murray.
Da’Sean Butler has been waived due to injury.
Josh Akognon will sign with the Canton Charge of the D-League.
Akognon spent this past season in the Chinese Basketball Association.
