Chris Tomasson of the Beacon Journal reports that Mike Dunleavy will not pursue the head coaching vacancy in Cleveland. After initially showing interest, he has decided to take some time off to "recharge his batteries". Dunleavy will still earn $2.5mil from the Trail Blazers next season. He wants to take a year off and spend time with his family and watch his kids play ball. He would like to return to coaching in the 2002-2003 season. In light of this information, it now appears that Del Harris would be the leading candidate for the job.
