The Heat were very kind to Tim Hardaway, Duane Causwell and Dan Majerle last season. Unless all are willing to take substantial paycuts, none are expected back in Miami next season. The Miami Herald reports that Miami is determined to shave their payroll from about $73 million to around $56 million. This plan could have an impact on the futures of Anthony Carter and Bruce Bowen, key Heat players who have opted out of their contracts.

The Herald also reports that Milwaukee isn't likely to make any major changes this summer and re-hashed the recent Keith Van Horn/Jamie Feick for Donyell Marhsall/Bryon Russell rumor.
