Chris Herren is heading to Italy.  After two seasons in Boston, it was obvious Herren was unlikely to return with the Celtics.  The Celtics have two roster spots left, and are focusing on Bryant Stith and a stronger Milt Palacio.

In the related piece, European shooting guard Josip Sesar visited Boston this past week.  Sesar was acquired last year from Seattle on draft day.  He will play for his Croatian league team this season, but intends to try to move to the NBA next season.
