Sports Ticker reported that free agent guard Bryant Stith, who has a career scoring average of 10.5 points per game over nine NBA seasons, on Monday signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though previous print reports indicated he would sign a two-year deal worth $2.73 million.

The 6-5 Stith spent last season with the Boston Celtics, averaging 9.7 points in 78 games, including 74 starts. He netted a season-high 29 points against the Washington Wizards on November 15.

"The addition of Bryant will help to solidify our backcourt," Cavaliers general manager Jim Paxson said. "He will add a defensive presence to our team as well as veteran leadership.
