In this weeks NBA Notebook brought to you by the Chicago Daily Southtown, the Sacramento Kings are fearful that their superstar Chris Webber will miss at least a month of action.  The left ankle will be re-evaluated later this week.

"Sometimes you have to let the initial trauma subside, and then you can get a better read on where you're going," Kings vice president of basketball operations Geoff Petrie said. "In another four or five days, we'll get an opportunity to get a better read on his situation, and we'll go from there."

In other NBA news Nuggets forward Calbert Cheaney was carried off the court Monday night during a preseason game against the Milwaukee Bucks with an apparent knee injury, and the Pistons have waived forward Nate Green and guard Ricky Price.
