Corliss Williamson just smiled and shrugged.
"You will have to ask the coach," he said.
Suddenly, without warning, Williamson, projected to be the Pistons' starting small forward, is out of the rotation.
He didn't play Thursday in a 114-88 exhibition victory over the Wizards.
"Nothing is wrong with Corliss," Coach Rick Carlisle said. "He has worked hard. It's just not everybody can play. This was a very tough decision, but this job isn't about making everybody happy. It's about making tough decisions and trying to win."
