Steve Wyche of the Washington Post reports that coach Doug Collins expressed concern early in training camp about how his Washington Wizards would play without Michael Jordan on the court. Now he's concerned about how they will play with him on the floor.

In Thursday's 114-88 preseason loss to the Detroit Pistons, Collins and Jordan said, players got caught up watching and waiting for Jordan to make things happen. Their inactivity bogged down the offensive flow, made it easier for the Pistons to defend Jordan and mentally took some players out of the game.

It's a fixable problem, Collins said, and yesterday at practice he went about fixing it. "We had a scrimmage where for 10 minutes [Jordan] can't shoot," Collins said.

Is that designed to get him to pass and get his teammates involved? "No, it forces other guys to play," Collins said.
