It didn't take Jason Kidd long to discern the difference between tonight's exhibition game with the Washington Wizards and the dozens of others he has played in during his NBA career.

"Well, me being in this league for some time now and never having a preseason game on TV (before), that says a lot," said the Nets captain. "(A game on) TNT? We don't have too many of them, so we have to enjoy them when they come. But it's a good opportunity for us to show the nation that we can play."

Sorry, Jason. But no one outside of East Rutherford will be watching tonight to see if the Nets can play. Those who aren't watching the end of the Yankees game or Atlanta and Arizona will have their eyes fixed on the newest Washington Wizard, Michael Jordan.
