The New York Daily News reports that should Charles Oakley's mouth get him traded out of Chicago, the former Knick would like nothing more than to return to New York, according to Oakley's business adviser.

"Charles is in no way asking to be traded," Billy Diamond said yesterday. "But if the Bulls decided to trade him, Charles wants to be reunited with Jeff Van Gundy and the Knicks."

Also, over the past 48 hours, Damon Stoudamire has told friends that the Knicks are interested in obtaining him. When Stoudamire was with Toronto, the Knicks were unsuccessful in their bid to lure him to New York.
