One night after being beaten by the Orlando Magic, the Charlotte Hornets were able to even the score, winning 103-101 behind another big night by center Elden Campbell.  Campbell scored a season high 23 points for the Hornets, eclipsing his previous high of 20 set the night before, including an offensive rebound then dunk with 8.3 seconds remaining to set up the win.

Moments before Magic guard Darrell Armstrong hit a three pointer to tie the score at 101, setting the scene for Campbell's basket.  Mike Miller scored a career high 32 points, while Tracy McGrady needed 31 shots to score his 31 points.

"We kept our composure," said the Hornets? P.J. Brown. "We didn?t falter. Miller was tremendous and Darrell?s always clutch. But we didn?t let them get us rattled."
