CHARLOTTE, N.C. - On June 28, 2000, the world was full of promise for Jerome Moiso. Seven months later, the No. 11 overall pick in the NBA draft was asking the Celtics to trade him. Now, two teams removed from Boston, Moiso believes he is ready to achieve some of his potential.

His new coach, however, is not so certain.

Moiso languished on the bench and injured list with the Celts, playing a team-low 135 minutes in 24 games (for point of reference, Rick Brunson played 142 minutes in his seven-game stint with the club).
