They didn't meet for milk shakes last night. They won't get together this afternoon to discuss their recent proms. But Cavaliers center DeSagana Diop does plan on chatting with Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry of Chicago before tonight's game at Gund Arena.

Somebody might want to snap a photo, because history will be made. It will mark the first time that three rookies directly out of high school have suited up for the same NBA game.

Whether all three play is an entirely different story. You see, it's not as if any of these guys who are wet behind the ears have gotten wet very much in games due to sweat.

``None of them can play,'' Cavs coach John Lucas said of the few minutes the three have gotten. ``This is watered-down pro basketball, but you still can't expect high school guys to come in (and play right away).''

Chandler, a 7-foot-1 forward, looks to be a lock to get into the game. He played 16 minutes Saturday against Atlanta, and did not embarrass himself with four points and six rebounds. Chandler, who three times has not played due to a coach's decision, is averaging 3.6 points and 11.3 minutes.

Curry, a 6-11 center who got two minutes against the Hawks, has a decent shot of seeing some action. Curry, who has not played four times this season, is averaging 3.8 points and 11.1 minutes.

The 7-foot Diop has the most spider webs on him, having not played in four of the last six games. Diop, who missed a month earlier this season with a knee injury, is averaging a half-point and 3.8 minutes in the four games in which he has appeared.
