Before we begin we had better get the official business over with.  WARNING: Peter Vecsey report proceeding.  Take with caution.  There, thats better.

Could Larry Brown become the next coach of the Denver Nuggets?  It is not a far fetched story, reports Peter Vecsey of the New York Post.  Vecsey reports that Brown is at the top of Kiki Vandeweghe's list of potential candidates despite the fact that he is still under contract to the Sixers for many years to come.  Brown has an uncanny ability to turn a troubled franchise into a winner, like he has done with Philadelphia currently.

"How many times has Larry threatened to quit since he arrived?" sheepishly asked a friend of Brown's. "It's like a wife or a husband threatening to leave one another. After a while you get fed up hearing it. Get bombarded with it enough and you can't wait for your spouse to split. Let's get real, Larry's been in Philly longer than anyone expected already."

In other Vecsey news, it seems that the Bulls woes are the fault of the fans for buying season tickets.  Now, I know what you are thinking, but according to Vecsey 'by filling the United Center almost to capacity on a nightly basis to eyeball one of the most wretched products the league has put forth in the last quarter - a team that, granted, had a helluva past, but positively no present and no future - is a sin against Red on Roundball and encourages management to stay stagnant.'

Three cheers for Vecsey!
