The Chicago Bulls broke routine Saturday when they announced the Washington Wizards head coach before one of their players.  Of course Michael Jordan is no ordinary player, and this was no ordinary game, with Jordan returning to his sanctuary as an opponent for the very first time in his career.

The Bulls announced Jordan last to give fans a chance to salute the greatest athlete in Chicago history, and MJ received a 2 minute ovation before the Bulls pulled the plug (no pun intended). Ron Artest was not happy with the Bulls honoring the man they called the greatest.

"I didn't like that at all," Artest said. "After they call him, they should call us right out."

"It's not like [Saturday] was the championship or they're giving out rings and trophies," Artest said. "What are we waiting for? We're the home team. Wait until after. We've only won eight games, so every game is like a championship game for me."

Once again Jordan had nothing but respect for Artest after the Bulls forward again was able to hold Jordan down.  Jordan finished the game 7-for-21 from the field and had nine turnovers.

"Obviously I didn't play well against him," Jordan said. "This kid is so tough and hard. I wish I could've seen him six years ago. Chicago should love him. He has that workman attitude that's all about Chicago."

Charles Oakley for one didn't appreciate Artest's 'disrespect' of Jordan, having a dig at his teammate by stating that 'these guys [who complain] have never done anything' and that Jordan deserved much more.
