Seattle SuperSonics guard Gary Payton. Utah Jazz forward Karl Malone. Possibly Washington Wizards forward Michael Jordan. When all is said and done, Timberwolves guard Chauncey Billups will have taken the shoes off the feet of some of the NBA's best players.
Billups, who had started 16 consecutive games at point guard in place of the injured Terrell Brandon before Saturday's game at Golden State, has a tradition of having some of the league's elite players autograph and give him their shoes after games.

"I just get all the big stars," Billups said. "Most of the guys, I just ask them to sign me a pair of shoes since I'm a big fan of the game. I want to get some memorabilia before I get out of the game. I'm probably going to get about nine or 10 guys by the end of the season."
