Watching Kings coach Rick Adelman's screams, spins and exhortations during the first half, one might have thought his squad was in trouble Thursday night -- not leading by 19 points at halftime.

Adelman, normally fairly placid on the sidelines, slipped back into his routine during the second half while the Kings enjoyed a 113-80 laugher against the Utah Jazz at Arco Arena.

Sacramento (32-10) maintained the NBA's best record with the victory and increased its home winning streak to 17, the longest in the Sacramento era and second in franchise history. The 1949-50 Rochester Royals won 23 straight home games.

Chris Webber and Peja Stojakovic led the Kings, whose 12-game winning streak ended Tuesday on the road, with 24 and 21 points, respectively.

Karl Malone led Utah (22-21), which lost its second straight game, with 14 points.

Neither Adelman nor Utah coach Jerry Sloan could have been content with how the game began. It was sloppy, ugly and rhythmless. But as the night evolved, Sloan had many more problems than Adelman.
