The Sacramento Kings embarrassed the Jazz on Thursday night at Arco Arena.

In Saturday afternoon's rematch at the Delta Center, the Jazz embarrassed themselves during a 114-90 loss.

After a 33-point defeat Thursday that ended with the Kings nailing three-pointers and throwing lob passes for dunks in the final minute, the Jazz's chance for redemption Saturday ended with Sacramento shooting three-pointers and trying to dunk off lob passes in the final two minutes.

You get the idea.

In a replay of the Kings' most lopsided victory over Utah in franchise history, Peja Stojakovic scored 25 points, Chris Webber added 19 and backup center Scot Pollard contributed 10 points and 15 rebounds as Sacramento improved its league-best record to 33-10.

Karl Malone, playing while his mother is hospitalized in Louisiana with an undisclosed illness, led the Jazz with 17 points and 10 rebounds. But Malone also missed 11 of his 18 field-goal attempts in 33 foul-plagued minutes as Utah lost for the fifth time in six games.

Once 21-17 and riding an obvious upswing, the Jazz slipped to 22-22. Every day, they look more and more capable of earning their first trip to the NBA draft lottery, which started in 1985.
